EXPERIENCE

2023 – PRESENT

Director of Web Development, New Target

In my current role, I lead a global team of nine engineers across the USA, South America, and Europe. We focus on collaboration and growth, using Agile and Scrum to keep projects on track. Security and compliance are always top priorities, and I work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure project goals are met effectively. I also play an active role in hiring and developing our team.

2018 – 2023

solutions architect, New Target

I defined project features and requirements, identified optimal Drupal/WordPress solutions for business challenges, developed custom modules/plugins and tailored existing ones for both CMSs, architected software blueprints from requirements, and led a development team.

2015 – 2018

Full Stack Developer, New Target

I developed and maintained clients’ Drupal websites, collaborated with the team on technical issues, created custom modules, tailored existing ones, and led Drupal project developments.

2011 – 2015

Full stack developer, Freelance

After years of working for local companies in Ecuador, I transitioned to remote work for international firms. This exposed me to global collaboration, with Drupal being my primary tool for website development.

2009 – 2011

Student Lab Assistant, Escuela Politecnica Nacional

During my final two years at university, I worked part-time in the Computer Science faculty laboratories.
